I wish I had seen this earlier, but better late than never. Restaurant.com, the discounted restaurant gift certificate people, have a promotion called "Feed it Forward" going until December 31. Basically, you can give your friends (up to 40 a day) a $10 gift certificate towards Restaurant.com participating restaurants.
There aren't too many restrictions, other than the limit to how many you can give. And, of course, you probably can't give yourself a gift, wink, wink. The program is seamlessly linked to Facebook, Gmail, or Yahoo accounts, thus it's very easy to pull up a list of your friends and send them these certificates--no typing required. The message will appear on your friend's "wall" though, so that might be a bit annoying for some, but not to me.
