Even though mail volume is on the decline, and the U.S. Postal Service is facing some hard decisions about how to restructure its business, one of the great perks it still offers is coupons when changing addresses. Simply, visit the change of address page on their site and apply on line to do so.
Prominently displayed, is an offer for 10% off of Lowe's hardware. However, the site also says one will receive $500 in discounts, but those aren't listed anywhere. In the past, at least, the USPS has sent Home Depot coupons as well, so it's interesting what they are sending along with the Lowe's coupon now.
Although it is unverified, one reader has told me that Post Offices keep these "Movers Guide" packs on hand, thus one might be able to pick one up without actually having to move. Try it out and let me know.
